The first event of the 2012 IFSC Bouldering World Cup was held in Chongqing, China with Austrian Jakob Schubert and Japan’s Akiyo Noguchi taking first place.
The Austrians have won again with Johanna Ernst and Jakob Schubert taking first place.
The final event of the World Cup Bouldering circuit was held last weekend with first place going to Dmitry Sharafutdinov of Russia and Mina Markovic of Slovenia.
After a disappointing finish at the World Cup in Chamonix, Adam Ondra has onsighted L'Avaro (5.14c) at the Italian crag Tetto di Sarre.
Chamonix will host the next IFSC Lead and Speed climbing events scheduled for 11th - 13th July.
