Michelle Watson sends "Cryptic Grips" V6/7 on Flagstaff Mountain
Michelle Watson spends a lot of time at the Spot Bouldering Gym but recently has been joining the Olmec crew outside! She is making very quick progress outside and yesterday despite the fact it was 80 plus degrees outside she made quick work of "Cryptic Grips" V6/7 on Flagstaff Mountain in Boulder, Colorado. "Cryptic Grips" is a typical Flagstaff problem; you have to use these tiny super crimpy, sharp, awkward, techy pebbles for hands and feet, and the pebbles are super glassy making the foot and hand movement very delicate, there is even a mono pocket that you can kind of two finger stack. Some of our stronger double digit climbers were there and couldn't send the problem, Michelle cruised the problem several times for the camera making it look so casual. We are super psyched to see what comes from Michelle in the future...she's crushing!
