In Colorado's Clear Creek Canyon, Alex David Johnson has put down a few hard routes. He flashed Public Enemy (5.13d) and sent Prime Evil (5.14a) and Positive Vibrations (5.14b).
Folks are still sending hard at the Red River Gorge, especially the kids! Seventeen-year-old Michaela Kiersch has been making short trips to the Red from her home in Chicago. Two weeks ago she sent Golden Boy (5.13b), The Castle has Fallen (5.13b), and her first 5.13c, Kaleidoscope. This past weekend she returned for her first 5.13d, Ultraperm. Michaela recently placed third at SCS Nationals. Click here for a short profile video of Michaela.

Cameron Hörst, age 11, made an encore visit to the Red River Gorge to add Swingline (5.13d) to his ticklist calling it his favorite 5.13 ever. Swingline took him just four tries overall. Cam recently sent God's Own Stone (5.14a) and Ultraperm (5.13d) as well. Click here for a video of Cam on God's Own Stone and Ultraperm.
Thirty-one-year old Nick Duttle is proving that the geriatric crowd can still crank with an ascent of 50 Words for Pump (5.14c), also at the Red.
After her recent ascent of Era Vella (5.14d), Sasha Digiulian has been onsighting in Spain. In Margalef, she onsighted La Perdonavidas (5.13b) and Hard Crit (5.13c). Just yesterday, in Siurana, she onsighted Zona Zero (5.13d).
UK climber Tom Bolger, who's currently living very close to the Santa Linya Cave in Spain, has climbed Catxasita (5.14d). Tom ticked off his first 5.15a early last year with Ciudad del Dios, also at Santa Linya. Watch the video here.
Slovenian Domen Skofic has sent his second 5.14d with Halupca 1979 at Misja Pec. His first was Martin Krpan at the same cliff two years ago at the age of 15.
