V11 Flash for Ashima in South Africa

Remember when it was cutting edge just to climb your age? Now you have to flash it. Which is what 11-year-old Ashima Shiraishi has done. On her recent trip to South Africa she sent her second V13 and then went on to flash Black Demon (V11) in Cape Town. This ascent marks the first flash of the grade by an 11-year-old.  

Paul Robinson has been playing the role of tour guide for Ashima. On a recent short jaunt from Cape Town to Rocklands, Ashima was also able to send Scorpion (V11) while Paul managed a repeat of Golden Shadow (V14).
