Shawn diamond is back in bishop and on a tear. Shawn's last trip out to the eastside produced Luminance, an over hanging V11 with a fall that could potentially be life altering. This line was recently repeated by Kevin Jorgeson who vouched for its heinousness.

Shawn, a previous native to California, recently moved to New York to finish his medical degree. But, even with his school work and the incredible distance Shawn still has found time to make it back out to Bishop. On his most recent trip he warmed up on Center Direct V10, before dispatching Direction V13, and a new line called North of Center, which is a linkup of Center Direct and Magnetic North. Shawn put the line somewhere in the 8a range. But, he was not satisfied so before jetting off back home Shawn also nabbed the second ascent of Kevin Jorgeson's Golden Rule, a line that was originally done by Kevin with small amounts of gear being placed.

Shawn opted for a rope-less ascent and made short work of the bold highball that tops out on a bald arête. We expect to see more from Shawn during his next break from school.
