Sam Davis’ Puts Up the Draws Hardest Line with The Stewardess:

Steep pocket pulling on polished limestone across a dead horizontal roof can yield some hard lines. Sam Davis’ recent FA may in fact be the hardest line to traverse the belly of The Mars Roof.

The area known as the Priest Draw in Arizona is home to several extensive pocketed roofs. First made famous by Big Up Productions classic road trip video Rampage the crag has been a destination for anyone who enjoys steep pocket pulling. One of the area’s most prominent features found in the video is the Mars Roof, a large limestone ceiling that houses such lines as The Receptionist and Suplexing Navajo’s and several other tendon tweaking eliminates.

Sam Davis, a man who is no stranger to hard boulder problems, has been working on a new line that links The Receptionist from the far right of the roof. After several sessions he was able to piece it together. Dubbed The Stewardess with a proposed grade of 8B or V13 this latest addition could be the hardest line found in The Draw.
