Former four-time World Cup Champion Robyn Erbesfield-Raboutou has sent her first V11 boulder problem, with Hard Boiled in Boulder Canyon, Colorado. Robyn has been climbing at a high level for over two decades, and in the last few years she has made headlines with ascents of 5.14a and flashes of 5.13a and V9. Now she’s reached another milestone, joining Lynn Hill as a 5.14a/V11 female climber who is also, and perhaps most impressively, over the age of forty.

Hard Boiled was the first V11 Erbesfield-Raboutou had ever tried, and she worked on it with her twelve-year old son Shawn (who also recently sent his first V11, with Schwerer Gustov in Hueco Tanks, Texas this past November). With her quick success I am sure we will see more hard bouldering from Robyn in the future.
