Jimmy Webb Grabs 2nd Ascent of Fantasia (V14)

Jimmy Webb has grabbed the 2nd ascent of Daniel Woods’ Fantasia just two weeks after it was put up.

At the moment there does not seem to be a move that can stop Jimmy Webb.  After spending several weeks in the dirty south repeating several hard James Litz problems and establishing some serious link-ups of his own, Webb decided to head west for Colorado to test his hot streak.

Upon arriving in Denver, Webb made a be-line for Matthews Winters Park, the site of Daniel Wood’s Fantasia (V14).  The line is extremely long and route-like and it couples wicked compression moves with dynamic gymnastic footwork.  The problem saw its first ascent less than two weeks ago by Daniel Woods and soon after numerous pros raced to grab the coveted second ascent.

On his scorecard Webb commented that the line took him two days and he stated that it is one of the best roofs around.  Who knows what could be accomplished if these power houses spent more than 2 days on a line?
