Hound Ears Bouldering Event

Get a DPM t-shirt, enjoy a BBQ dinner, and win a pair of La Sportiva shoes as the Triple Crown Bouldering Series kicks off to help raise money for the Southeastern Climber's Coalition this weekend at Hound Ears. The event, now in its 20^th year, allows climbers to sample the privately owned boulders of the Hound Ears Country Club and Resort. Each year, climbers from across the United States converge on the area to begin what many consider the best climbing competition series in the world.

Event sponsor, La Sportiva will be hosting 'My Triple Crown Contest' Friday night. Competitors interested in a chance to win FOUR PAIRS of FREE La Sportiva Climbing Shoes and a guarantee of receiving a free La Sportiva t-shirt should check out the 'My Triple Crown Contest' webpage.

La Sportiva and Bluewater BBQ/Pre-registration 5:00 PM
La Sportiva and Bluewater are sponsoring a free Barbeque/Pre-registration Dinner beginning at 5 pm on Friday October 2 (Afternoon/Evening before the comp). Competitors will be able to PICK UP THEIR COMPETITION PACKET AND T-SHIRT at this dinner. This will give everyone a chance to look at the competition map, AND it will speed up the busing on Saturday Morning! Come join us at the dinner for some good food, and also get a chance to look at the comp map to make your "plan of attack" for the next day!

Dead Point Magazine will be there with DPM T-shirts designed by event sponsor Friksn. 100% of all the proceeds generated from the shirts during the Triple Crown will go directly to the SCC.
