Hard Ticks for Webb and Voges at Mt. Evans

Jimmy Webb and Brion Voges have been consistently putting down the hardest problems at Mt. Evans, Colorado.  Last week we reported on Webb's ascent of We Can Build You (V14) and now Voges has added his name to the short list of climbers to complete this problem.  They both also sent Big Worm (V14) at Area A, a problem established by Dave Graham two years ago.

In addition, Webb claimed the second ascent of Vanilla Sky, a problem he found and cleaned last year but was first climbed by Dave Graham.  Graham suggested V14 for the line while Jimmy took V13.  Both agreed that the grade was height-dependent.  He also sent Death Trout (V13), and flashed both Tattooed Teardrops (V12) and the notoriously nasty-ass Honey Badger (V11).

Voges also finished up his work on The Great War for Civilization and Death Trout ( both V13) as well as The Exfoliator and Bebe Wolverine (both V12). 

And finally, to round out the Southern Boy crush-fest, Brad Weaver jumped in the mix with a one day ascent of Evil Backwards (V13).
