Hard First Ascents in Borneo for Daniel Woods and Yuji Hirayama

From the Reel Rock Film Tour Facebook page comes news of some very hard first ascents at Mt. Kinabalu in Northern Borneo. The granite paradise of towers and spires lies near the summit of the 13,436 foot mountain. Yuji Hirayama has redpointed a massive new multipitch 5.14d called Pogulian Do Koduduo. The two pitch route begins with a 65-meter 5.13a, followed by the crux 35-meter 5.14d pitch.

Daniel Woods got the first ascent of a project bolted by Hirayama that he's called Tinipi (5.15a) while Pearson has reportedly added a few 5.13d's.
