Francois Nicole (the other Nicole) Bags New 9a in Switzerland

Apparently the Nicole family was bred for a single purpose, to pull down the big numbers.  Francois Nicole, the brother of Fred (the other Nicole) just finished a long standing project in Switzerland. This short, powerful 35 move line was dubbed Amazonie and given the grade of 9a.

The problem lies on a beautiful blue wall in Saint-Triphon, Vaud, Switzerland. The problem works steep edges up to an all points off right hand dyno followed by another section of sustained edging.  This long standing project has held his attention for some time now but as he works and still attends classes his climbing has been limited.  But, don't forget he is a "Nicole" which means this is not the first big number he has pulled down, Francois has also sent Bimbaluna 9a, Bain de Sang 9a and numerous 8c boulder problems.
