Fontainebleau: V14 flash for Ondra and V14 FA for Robinson.

Adam Ondra has headed to Fontainebleau, France and quickly proven that he is in top form after his recent ascent of Gioia (V16).  He started off with ascents of Sideways Daze, Satan I Helvete, L’apparemment en depart bas, (all V13) as well as Kheops Assis (V14).  Earlier today, he wrapped up his trip with a flash of Gecko Assis (V14).  This ascent can be considered Ondra’s hardest flash as it seems to be a bit more solidified within the V14 grade than his previous hardest Confessions, in Cresciano, Switzerland which he considered V13.  Had Ondra’s ascent come just a touch sooner it would have been the hardest flash in the history of bouldering but amazingly, Daniel Woods flashed Entlinge (V14/15) just two weeks ago.

Ondra isn’t the only one enjoying Font in its prime season though.  Paul Robinson, hopefully recovering from a long illness, has claimed the first ascent of The Traphouse (V14).  The Traphouse is a more direct finish to the Gourmandise roof.  It adds a V10 mantle to the V13 problem.
