Ethan Pringle Sends Sky (V14)

While Paul Robinson was adding one more hard boulder to Cape Town, South Africa before leaving, Ethan Pringle was struggling to send his project before departing as well.  Just two days before having to leave the Rocklands, Ethan ticked Sky (V14).   As usual for Ethan, his ticklist was quite impressive with eighteen problems completed that were V12 and harder.  This, of course, is counting the grades Ethan logged on his 8a.nu logbook.  He suggested downgrades for more than a handful of the problems he did while in South Africa and offers his solid explanation near the end of this blogpost.  Ethan also posted a few good video stills on his blog and noted that all the footage they got will likely produce a 30 minute video.  Well done Ethan!  We look forward to seeing the footage.  Until then, you can enjoy two short clips that Ethan posted on his Vimeo page.  Click the images for video of the ascents.
