Back from a successful bouldering trip to the states, Enzo has now switched his focus to hard sport climbing. Two days ago, the young phenom redpointed Aubade Direct (5.15a), at Sainte-Victoire in the south of France. On his blog, Enzo says that he has no doubts about the line being 5.15a and commented that he spent several sessions on it before doing a single move. Enzo describes the route as a 5.14c into an awkward/uncomfortable rest followed by a finger intensive 5.13a, and culminating with a V11ish crux, followed by a balancy slab finish. Congrats Enzo!

Aubade Directwas put up by Gérôme Pouvreau late last fall. Gerome has also put up Le Complexe du Playboy (5.15a) along with another route of the same difficulty in Lourmarin. For Enzo this was the second route he has climbed of this grade, the first being Realization in Ceuse.
