Off the Couch Bouldering

What happens when you take two of the strongest women boulderers and add the worlds reigning lead climbing champion, a station wagon, and a trip to Joes Valley..... the answer, a bouldering massacre.

When Alex Puccio, Alex Johnson, and Johanna Ernst piled into a car, on a single days notice to enjoy the cool temps found in Joe's Valley they did not know what their trip would produce.  However, their spontaneity created an impressive tick list of 5 star problems that would make any climber jealous:  Check out there sending spree below:

Johanna: Fingerhut V10, Resident Evil V10, Three Weeks Low V9 (flash), Two Finger Variation V9
Puccio: Three Weeks Low V9, Two Finger Variation V9, Scrawny and Brawny V10, Profit in a Ditch V10
              (flash), Nerve Extension V10
Johnson: Three Weeks Low V9, Profit in a Ditch V10, Nerve Extension V10, Resident Evil V10

Johnson had never visited the area before, and for Ernst this was her first attempt at bouldering outside.  With Puccio as a walking guide book the ladies went to war with some of the areas classic test pieces and came away victorious with several impressive sends of area classics such as Resident Evil and Fingerhut.

When the girls returned to Colorado Ernst stepped up her game by making a quick send of the Kind Traverse V11 in RMNP along with the Bischer Traverse V8 (flash), Against Humanity V7, and Jousting at Windmills V10, in Poudre Canyon. Not bad for an impromptu road trip.
