With temperatures on California's eastside dropping, the action in the Buttermilks and the surrounding areas will soon kick into high-gear. The first salvo of the season marking the “sending time” came from Charlie Barrett at a small local area close to Mammoth known as Rock Creek. Rock Creek is composed of 8-9 boulders that sit within a small talus field and hundreds of aspen trees. The new problem dubbed The Prow Project has been high on Charlie’s tick list for the past two seasons.
