Brion Voges is Wood Grain Grippin’ (V14)

Last season, Brion was rejected by Graham’s Wood Grain Grippin’ and only 2 months into the new year he has found his revenge.  This week Brion and a small posse from the south traveled to the Horseshoe Canyon ranch to enjoy the fine sandstone of the Ozark Mountains and for Brion to finish up last season’s projects. It did not take him long as Brion quickly dispatched his nemesis in style.

Wood Grain Grippin’ traverses the belly of a large overhanging boulder.  The line forces the climber to gain a small 3-finger undercling on the dead horizontal roof and then make a large dynamic move to the finish.  This is Brion’s 2^nd career V14, for those of you who might be counting.
