Alex Puccio Continues to Crush in Hueco

It should be no surprise to anyone that Puccio is continuing to dispatch Hueco’s double-digit classics. She recently added Tequila Sunrise (FFA) and Diaphanous Sea to her tick list.

Alex has been in Hueco for little more than a week and her fitness does not seem to show any signs of letting up. It should be noted that she made the (FFA) First Female Ascent of Tequila Sunrise V12 (8a+) earlier in the week and Free Willy V10 (7C+). Alex continued her tear by dispatching Diaphanous Sea V11/12 (8a). Although many climbers believe that the longer reaches and power moves make Hueco easier for male climbers, both Diaphanous Sea and Free Willy included larger moves that did not seem to trouble Puccio during her ascents.
