After a long Christmas vacation Alex Johnson is back in the mix. Alex packed up her car and her tiny dog Fritz and headed to Bishop, California to try her tips at the Buttermilks. Although the Milks recently received one of the largest snow falls in the last five years Alex was able to make headway on some new projects and dispatch her two-year old nemesis Haroun and the Sea of Stories V11/12.
Haroun is a sit-start to
Fall Guy (V9) which is located near the outskirts of the Milks beyond
Flyboy. The line surfs through shallow huecos and small crimps forcing the climber to 30+ feet over a huge boulder and a dicey landing. Alex had tried this project on her last visit and was unable to piece it together, but on this trip, even with the massive amount of snow, she was able to send. Congrats Alex. Follow Alex on her blog
