Adam Ondra Opens Up a New 5.15 In Spain

It seems onsighting numerous 5.14c’s is not quite enough for Adam Ondra.  Over the weekend the boy wonder decided to open up a new extension in the Santa Ana region of Spain.  The new route is an extension to a Dani Andrada 5.14c that lies in a large overhang.  Ondra’s new line, Obrint el Sistema, adds some very physical climbing to Andrada’s existing pump-fest.

Ondra needed only 5 tries to clip the chains of Obrint el Sistema, which he is suggesting the grade of 5.15a for.  Check out video of Ondra working the route here.
