Adam Ondra recently attended the San Vito climbing festival on the Italian island of Sicily. In just two days, he was able to bolt and send the region's hardest pitch, a so-far unnamed 5.14d. Click the image below to watch video of Ondra on the first ascent.
Daila Ojeda reports on her blog that Chris Sharma ticked another hard first ascent in Margalef, Spain. She writes: "Some days before Chris climbed La Tierra Negra 9a/+ (his last route bolted in Margalef,Sector La Catedral) and La nevera Severa 8c+/9a in the same sector."
